There is a great opportunity to build strategic partnerships between the missions and churches in Asia and South Africa to reach the unreached people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and bring peace, prosperity and blessings to the whole world.
In 1977, Praigie Moodley started the organisation following a clear vision and calling to share the Good News of the Gospel to residents and individuals in South Africa and its neighbouring countries. In 1999 the vision expanded to include the 10/40 window with a current emphasis in Asia.
WEM has since grown through sharing its vision and the current Board members serve in a voluntary capacity. Word Evangelism Ministries (WEM) is a registered non-profit organisation based in South Africa since 2018.
WEM through engagements and requests have worked with both local and international individuals, churches and other organisations to share its vision by informing them about the need for the Gospel to reach the 10/40 window.
This is achieved through presentations and meetings. WEM exists to arrange and connect financial donors, prayer needs and other forms of support to its partners in Asia.

We are serious about sharing the Gospel and fulfilling the requirements of the Great Commission in reaching the people locally and in the 10 / 40 Window. It is this demarcated area on our globe that is the least reached with the Gospel and yet it has the most unreached people groups in the world that are yet to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
